The reason I chose to serve my alma mater as a member of the Young Alumni Executive Committee is to help be a liaison for the recent graduates of the college, giving them a voice and helping them to stay involved, come back to campus, attend alumni events and give back to the place that they called home for four years. I also want to help educate everyone on the importance of giving back and staying involved, because I know the importance of it thanks to my career in higher education.
