50+ Club
|
Mission Statement
The 50+ Club of Albright College is comprised of alumni who are graduated from the College 50 or more years. Its purpose is to provide these alumni with a means of renewing and maintaining relationships with each other through 50+ Club meetings held on Homecoming Day and Alumni Day.
In addition, the Club provides a means of keeping its members informed about College events, programs and plans by personal contact with College officials on Homecoming Day and Alumni Day, as well as disseminating information through special mailings and College publications.
The 50+ Club supports the overall objective and programs of the College and its Alumni Association by keeping "the spirit of Albright" alive and vital for 50+ Club members.

Interested club members are encouraged to fill out the enclosed nomination form to nominate themselves or other interested Albrightians. The Alumni Relations Office will confirm interest with each nominee before the club votes at the April meeting. Newly elected officers will be installed at the induction ceremony during Homecoming and Family Weekend, October 8-10, 2010.
The duties of executive committee members are important but not time consuming. Committee members consult with the Alumni Relations Office about concerns club members may have, and share important College information with fellow 50+ Club members.
The Executive Committee is also consulted by the Alumni Relations Office at least twice a year concerning suggestions for planning the club’s two annual events, the induction ceremony at Homecoming and the annual meeting. This consultation can take place via phone or e-mail.
We hope you will consider nominating yourself or another club member for this important post.
