President's Message

Welcome to the Lion Diplomats!

The Lion Diplomats, the student-alumni association at Albright, serves as a liaison between Albright alumni and the current student body. In 1984, Albright's first student alumni association was organized and in the fall of 1985, the group was a fully operational student organization.

In 25 years, the Lion Diplomats have impacted the Albright family and community by assisting with Homecoming, Senior Mystery Dinner, alumni events, and the always popular Oozeball.  This year the Lion Diplomats' are celebrating their 25 year existence with a reunion over Homecoming and Family Weekend!  We hope you can join us as we celebrate this milestone!

I have been a “Lion Dip” since my freshman year and it has been a blast. As a freshman, I attended a tour of Lincoln Financial field, the stadium where the Philadelphia Eagles play, rode the Dips float in the Homecoming parade, and met many alumni at various events. As a sophomore, I took on the role of treasurer, learned the inner-workings of a club for the first time and served on the E-board. I also planned the Senior Mystery Dinner; the first event I have ever planned. However, this event would not have been a success without the help of the committee and Megan and Ryan in the Alumni Relations office.

Now as president, I hope to continue the great things that the Lion Diplomats have done in the past few years, and help as many members as possible get involved in both the organization and the campus as a whole.
